The Emotional Body is an aspect of the ego and it’s desires. Most people move throughout life with the Emotional Body in control.
The Emotional Body sits in the Solar Plexus region as an entity with color, smell and the frequency of an unorganized cloud that is often, filled with dark patches much like storm clouds and discolorations of dark hues. This heavy, dark, unpleasant cloud that one carries around is filled with thought-forms attached to past experiences and especially those that are highly, emotionally traumatic. It also fills up with the subtle thought-forms from people and places moving about throughout the day as one is experiencing different environments. Past lives, relationships: friends, enemies, acquaintances or lovers, conditioning from parents, caretakers and environments, all of these things shape the overall condition of this cloud.
Through the Solar Plexus ganglia, emotions are registered for impacting blood chemistry in the brain and activating physiological responses that carry an electrical jolt, like when one experiences a sudden surprise. The emotional body becomes addicted to these jolts and seeks out people and situations, which re-create the sensations that it has become addicted to.
The emotional body moves in a spiral fashion and feeds upon itself, which is why it seeks out the people and situations that will recreate the electrical jolts for food. If the emotional body is living on fear, it will create an illusion to seek out fear, grab it and bring it into the being to nourish itself. Psychically, you can observe the shade of the aura emitting a deeper hue for one second as an expression of satisfaction upon the ingestion of emotional energy frequencies. This same action is witnessed as a type of smile known as a “smirk” on the face of a the one eating and living off the emotional reactions of others, unconsciously.
The emotional body is the place where the hooks are created with lovers, family members or unhealthy, co-dependent relationships. If these relationships are not healed, cleared and released during this lifetime, they remain through the death experience and into the next lifetime as karma – to be lived through again until cleared.
Likewise, any deep-seated emotional ties in this lifetime most likely, stem from a past life. Often, the emotional trauma from a past life is repeated in this lifetime so that it can be cleared. Sometimes, it can take several lifetimes to heal one particular emotional trauma and gain a clearing of the experience and its imprint. One of the great benefits of working with an enlightened being, an incarnation, is their ability to clear this messy residue of many lifetimes with the wave of a hand.
The Emotional Body is very active and does not allow for rest. It feeds continuously upon the impact of experiences and the desires that brew inside the mind throughout the day as one interacts. It also churns away at night while one is sleeping and impresses upon the dream world, shaping the reality that one experiences the next day.
Humans live lifetime after lifetime with these imprints of emotional patterns and addictions. Experience is the only way to change these imprints, therefore, life lessons are chosen before birth for each lifetime, as a means to gain a clearing in the system. An effective way to clear quickly is through the process of completion, which works directly with the subconscious mind where the ancient memories tend to exist.
Eventually, through practice combined with spiritual disciplines, working with the right teacher or guide, the emotional body comes into abeyance of the Higher Self. Once the emotional body has been tamed and stilled, it gradually dissipates and fades away allowing for consciousness to function in its place. When this transformation happens, a higher form of intelligence takes over that is free of emotional reactions and their tendency to drive life experiences.
Through careful observation over an extended period of time, one can see contrasting realities physically, emotionally and spiritually in accordance to the changing of environment and people. There may be a knot in the stomach when someone is near, there may be aches and pains or there may be sniffles, a clogged sinus or sneezing if a new person has just walked into the environment. You can see these subtle cues easily through the senses if you are paying attention. Even thought-currents in the atmosphere belonging to others cause ideas to flow through one’s mind that would never be there if one were alone.
A time of purification is essential to rejuvenate and align to a cognition that brings a sweeter fragrance and a smoother trajectory. If one remains in the same environment, often, there is very little change or efficient clearing of senses or nerve pathways causing little change in life direction, no matter how hard one tries to purify. One must remove themselves from the environment and isolate their aura so that it can empty and reset according to one’s own life design.
Time alone to empty and purify changes the way a person experiences smell, taste, sight, touch and hearing, which naturally changes one’s life experiences and the process of decision-making.
One must be in a focused environment with a degree of privacy and have alone time for more than twenty-one days to break the rhythm of how one lives their daily life. It takes at least a full month to change the way the emotional body is directing and controlling life events and interpreting color, vibration, sound, fragrance and so on. Once the senses have undergone a thorough cleansing and rejuvenation, an entirely new operating system can come forward to control the direction of life. Purified senses can bring new experiences and new people that feel correct, suitable and appropriate, healing and nurturing.
There are six senses that manage knowledge, sight, hearing, touch, smell and taste, which gathers material from outside the body through the physical nerves and their organs, eyes, ear, nose, skin, palate. The sixth sense, mind, receives direct thought impressions from outside and from within, simultaneously.
With the sense of smell comes the ability to determine or intuit a correct alliance. With the sense of taste comes the ability to determine food or poison and display or speak strong emotions or offer kindness, intelligence or humor. With the sense of hearing, comes the ability to hear truth or deceit behind words or immediately intuit correct direction. With the sense of touch, comes the ability to apply healing or creative energy and to manifest. With the sense of sight, comes the gift to enjoy beauty on the material plane and to identify uniqueness. Senses play a big role in how we experience life.
An obstruction in the nerve pathways can easily distort information that is being fed to the mind and interpreted by the senses. When the mind is not clear, then false judgments, false imagination, false memory, false observation, false comparison, false contrast, deduction, induction, and inference come into the perception process of people, places and events.
All of types of reactions can be traced to some kind of emotional imbalance and a block in the nerve channels that is created through a habitual way of consistently looking at things in the same way and distorting how one perceives.
These blocks can only be cleared through a purification of emotions and habits. For purification of emotions one applies pranayama, clearing the subtle nerve pathways, ultimately causing a deliberate state of calmness. For purification of habits the practice of Yamas and Niyamas is applied. Through a clearing of passive memory and karma, completion exercises are applied. Through the practice of Pratyahara, right concentration, applying conscious will-power converts into higher intelligence.
The chakra body is an exact replica of the physical body as seen through the subtle, energy vortexes coinciding with major glands and their primary, internal organs. This subtle part of the human system manages vitality and energy, taking in light and heat from the sun, planets, environment and people throughout the day. The chakras are a filtering, sampling, expressive organic machine that experiences every nuance of life through the senses.
To properly manage vitality and good health of this component of the human operating system one must be sure to get adequate sunshine, enjoy a nourishing diet that provides the necessary proteins and vitamins while avoiding fatigue or worry, which can quickly become disease for the etheric body.
The chakra body is vitalized by prana, which is received from the Sun at three places on the body: between the shoulder blades, above diaphragm and through the spleen. The condition of the spleen determines the intensity of prana that one receives in the physical body. This intensity enters into the spleen according to each person’s vibrational quality and state of health.
If the individual is unhealthy, the prana intake is lowered and slowed down. The more healthy the physical body, the better it receives this vital energy, hence, the necessity for a pure physical body and practicing stretches daily. If receptivity to vital stimulation and good health is poor then chakras become atrophied and closed down.
Quality living conditions, a good diet, sunshine and practicing ethical, moral habits are all antidotes for receiving more prana and vitalization of this important subtle body.
Daily cleansing rituals for the etheric body include bathing with sea salts, using aromatherapy oils, floral waters, smudging with sage and sweeping the aura with feathers.
Organic vegetables and fruits assists greatly in keeping the etheric body healthy and receptive to prana energy. Crystals and gemstones are predominantly etheric in nature and directly heal the etheric body and chakra centers.
